Eddy Verloes is a Belgian photographer who has won numerous international awards for his literary symbolic photography. He is also a curator and gallerist at Gallery Louise Linthout in Brussels.
He approaches photography as a threshold between the visible and the imagined - where reality is never simply observed, but quietly transformed. His images inhabit a space in which interiors, landscapes and urban environments become psychological terrains, charged with ambiguity, symbolism and poetic tension. Drawing from literature and philosophy, Verloes constructs visual narratives that resist fixed interpretation, allowing the familiar to become strange and the ordinary to reveal its hidden mysteries. His photographs invite us not merely to look, but to linger - to enter a world in which perception itself becomes an act of contemplation.
